[Oakstorm]

The angry warrior stalked into the forest and raked his claws down a tree, satisfied with the deep gouges he had left. he hated being constrained from what he really was, every waking moment he felt further away from starclan. he swept his tail over his paws and gave a furious howl before he began running.

[Shadowdance]

Shadowdance reached the forest just as Oakstorm howled, sending shivers up her spine. She began to run, her paws treading stealthily on the forest floor. She spotted some trees with fresh claw marks in them, and knew she was on the right track. After running for awhile, she finally spotted Oakstorm up ahead. "Oak, stop!" she yelled out, out of breath. "Really, whats wrong?"

[Oakstorm]

His eyes glanced back at shadowdance and seemed to cloud over. "nothing miss deputy i am fine". he kept his yellow eyes averted from her. his long tail lashing angrily, he didnt belong in the pack, he was more of a lone wolf. he could take care of himself. Oakstorm stared at the earth and said "i have left earthpack... i am now oakthorn i will be a thorn in the side of my enemies..." He looked at shadowdance and she saw affection in his eyes before it was hidden away "goodbye shadowdance... may starclan guide your path". he turned and lightly bounded off.

[Shadowdance]

Shadowdance stared at him in disbelief. How could he leave? "Fine... its better for you to go than to be unloyal." The femme watched Oakthorn leave, mulling over the strange affection that had flashed briefly in his eyes. Was it true, that he did like her? With a sigh, she turned and trotted back to camp. She would never know.

Oakstorm watched her go from high up top a large rock, he flicked his tail and howled. A tint to his howl that was miserable and sad.

[Whiteleaf]

Whiteleaf bounded into the forest. "Oakstorm!' She called. "Where are you?"
