Moose Lake

[Fallingstar]

Moose lake is a lake that runs through the camp. It is known for its green grass and sparkling water, a ideal sight for the moose. It is also a great hunting ground and is a favourite for EarthPack.

Prey - Moose, water voles, mice, sparrows.
Predators - Foxes, Badgers, Lone wolves.

[Whiteleaf]

Whiteleaf bounded into Moose Lake territory. She breathed in the soft scent of the water, and wrinkled her nose at the smell of Moose scat. "At least we know their still here." She muttered to herself.

[Oakstorm]

Oakstorm trotted up, his brown pelt shining in the bright sunlight, dipping his head he lapped up at some of the crystal clean water with his red tongue then looked up watching for anything worth eating. he twitched his tail at some sparrows not worth hunting they were only a mouthful. he turned his head and glanced around searching for something more worth his time.

[Shadowdance]

Shadowdance sat quietly by the lakeside, watching the two warriors with calculating eyes. She curled her tail over her paws, getting bored. They weren't doing much, certainly nothing worth her time. Kneading the ground with her paws, she sighed.

[Oakstorm]

Oakstorm shot Shadowdance a look then turned and began following his nose to a rabbit warren. his oak pelt blended in well with the dying grass.

[Whiteleaf]

Whiteleaf padded up to Shadowdance. "Hi. I've heard your the Deputy now? I'm sure you'll do a great Job." The warrior flicked her tail a few times and said, "You know, I think you've caught Oakstorm's eye."

[Shadowdance]

Shadowdance looked up as Whiteleaf padded over. She nodded as the warrior remarked she was deputy. "Thanks," she murmured quietly. Her ears flattened when she said she had caught Oak's eye. "What do you mean?" she asked, as she stiffened.

[Whiteleaf]

"What do you mean, what do I mean? haven't you seen the way he's looked at you?" She snorted, but at Oakstorm not Shadowdance. "He's trying to hide his feelings for you because he's just stubborn."

[Oakstorm]

leaping up out of the grass the swift warrior began chasing a hare with an expert precision. his brown pelt blew in the breeze, his yellow eyes were fixed on this hare that seemed determined to get away from him. ducking through the grass he suprised the rabbit and sank his jaws into its neck. giving the rabbit a vicious shake he smirked having killed it. he turned and began padding back to the she wolves before he stopped and snorted a derisive look on his muzzle.

[Whiteleaf]

"Nice catch." Whiteleaf called to Oakstorm and padded over to him. "Why don't you go share
it with Shadowdance?" She smirked and nudged him towards the Deputy.

[Shadowdance]

Shadow narrowed her eyes. He had been acting strange. `I still think you have it wrong,`she called after the white warrior, curling her tail over her paws. It could never be true.

[Whiteleaf]

"Wrong? Well sure I am!" Whiteleaf said sarcastically. The white warrior slipped away from Oakstorm and whispered to Shadowdance, "Because we all know I'm wrong when affection gleams in his eyes when he looks at you." She smirked and waited to see if Oakstorm would end up sharing the rabbit with the Deputy. "And if I'm wrong I'll clean the elder's bedding for three moons." She told the she-wolf. Whiteleaf shrugged. "I'll see you guys back at camp." She said. -EPC

[Oakstorm]

Oakstorm snorted and glanced around scenting around for something else to catch. the wind blew away whiteleafs words so he didnt know what they were talking about. he flicked his oaken brown tail and yawned a little. his yellow eyes glittering with hatered he suddenly turned and leapt towards a patch of grass. with a savage snarl he leapt and pinned down a scrawny she-wolf "trespasser" growled the savage warrior. his yellow eyes glittered "do you know what i do to tresspassers wolf? i kill them" he bared his teeth in a vicious smile. the she wolf began whimpering with a growl oakstorm ripped out her throat then turned and picked up the rabbit. without a look at shadowdance he padded back to camp

Shadowdance watched as Whiteleaf padded away. With a shrug, she was about to go talk to Oak when he spotted a trespasser. To her horror, he ripped out her throat, killing her. With a snarl, she bounded after the brown brute, ready to give him a piece of her mind.
